From October to April your holiday home is usually empty. That is exactly when the expensive damage happens: damp and mould, frozen pipes, storm damage to shutters and roof, break-ins. I check your house regularly and send you photos after every visit.
What happens on every visit
Airing, running the water, moving the shutters, visual inspection inside and out, checking for damp, mould and pests, checking the pool, pumps and outdoor area, emptying the letterbox. Anything unusual is reported immediately and fixed in agreement with you.
Bora, jugo and frost
Winter storms on the Adriatic are strong. After storm warnings I make an extra visit. Before frost periods I make sure pipes and pool are winterised.
